Licence to operate a personnel and materials hoist (HP) - Day
2 days - 7am to 3pm. (Assessment is at end of Day 2 so could run late)

A personnel hoist is also referred to as an Alimak (which is a brand of hoist). It can be a cantilever hoist, a tower hoist or a hoist with a multiple winch operation. It allows for the lifting of both people and materials on a building site.
An HP licence allows only for the operation of the hoist. Installing, dismantling or maintenance of the hoist must be carried out by licensed riggers or scaffolders.
An HP licence allows you to operate both an HM (Materials hoist) and HP (personnel and materials) hoist. The HM licence will not allow you to operate an HP hoist.

All nationally recognised training - when a learner is deemed competent at the completion of their training - will be issued with a Statement of Attainment in the Unit of Competency in which they have enrolled. RTO 45587 TCLM Pty Ltd.
Course Location
Campbelltown yard – 11 Watsford Rd NSW 2560 (5min walk from the station)
Bring your PPE – Hard hat, high vis vest/ workwear and safety boots.
We have lunchroom facilities – microwave, fridge etc. There are cafés and restaurants nearby if you want to purchase lunch.
We provide tea, coffee, and water (bring your own water bottle).

We offer ongoing support to all of our students and are available to answer questions and provide guidance during your course and after. We don’t know all the answers but we know lots of people who do!

Course Duration
A two-day course with the SafeWork NSW assessment at the end of the second day.
​
Course Delivery
Face to Face in our Campbelltown yard. Our hoist is installed undercover. We can also provide training on - site at your premises on your compliant hoist. Contact us for requirements.
All your training materials are provided.

Course Cost
$850 per person (GST free) when paying cash or EFT.
Credit card facility is provided by STRIPE and includes a 1.75 % fee.

Course Pre-requisites
As with all HRW licences, participants must be over 18 years of age and be able to speak and understand English as well as provide 100 points of Identification for the SafeWork NSW assessment.

Course Outcome
A participant deemed competent at the completion of this course will be issued an NSA form by the SafeWork NSW Assessor and will also receive their SOA from TCT.

a Notice of Satisfactory Assessment (NSA form) is valid for a period of (60) sixty days from the date of issue. Submit the NSA together with the application form, Passport photo and application fee to a NSW Australia Post Office within 60 days to receive your national Licence (Class HP) to operate a personnel and materials hoist from SafeWork NSW. HRW licences are valid for 5 years from the date of issue and need to be renewed with SafeWork before they expire.

A Statement of Attainment (SOA) for fulfilling the requirements of CPCCLHS3001 – Licence to operate a personnel and materials hoist, a unit in the CPCO8, Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package will be sent to you within 30 days of completion by TCLM Pty Ltd Trading as Tower Crane Training, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45587).
